Location. The Marriott Casamagna Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa stands across the street from the Marina Vallarta golf course in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Marina Vallarta shopping and dining district is located 400 meters from this resort.
Hotel Features. Six on-site restaurants and bars include Mikado that offers teppanyaki tables and a sushi bar, and serves Japanese and Thai cuisine. La Estancia and Las Casitas restaurants feature open-air terraces and serve international and Mexican fare. The Lobby Bar hosts live music. The resort's business center offers fax, photocopy and print services, and multi-function rooms accommodate corporate and social gatherings. High-speed Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Recreation includes a family pool with a swim-up bar, a rock-garden and a sunset-view infinity edge. A secure area features a sand playground, an air-conditioned children's clubhouse and a toddlers' pool. The resort's beach frontage is furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas. A water-sports desk rents boogie boards, pedal boats and AquaTrikes, while independent operators offer scuba-diving instruction and water-sports equipment. A health spa contains an eight-person spa tub, saunas and steam rooms. The spa offers massage, body wraps and scrubs, and facials. A complimentary fitness center contains cardiovascular and weight machines, and free weights. For a fee, wet areas of the center can be accessed. Tennis is played on three, artificial-grass courts.
Guestrooms. This resort offers 433 guestrooms in 5- and 9-story buildings with red-tile roofs, fieldstone accents, and bougainvillea-draped railings. Rooms contain furnished balconies or ground-floor terraces, many with spectacular ocean views. Sophisticated design includes marble-tile floors, light-toned furnishings, pastel-colored walls and beds draped in soft, white bedspreads topped with a menu of pillows. Marble bathrooms offer tub and shower combinations with massage showerheads and brightly colored Mexican ceramic accessories. Dial-up and wireless Internet access is available in all accommodations.
Expert Tip. The resort provides complimentary tennis and golf clinics when a minimum of four people request reservations.
