Location. The Coral Princess Hotel and Resort overlooks a rocky beach with a raised sand terrace three kilometers north of the town center in Cozumel, Mexico. Cozumel International Airport is located three kilometers away.
Hotel Features. The lobby of this Mexican resort features a checkerboard-patterned mocha-and-cream tiled floor, tropical foliage and island-white walls and reception area. On-site dining options include Buenaventura Terrasse that offers an open-air, sea-view terrace and ocean views. Live music performs daily. The restaurant serves all meals and specializes in grilled fish and steak. The lobby bar, K8, serves Mexican and international drinks. Wireless Internet access is offered for a fee in the lobby, the restaurant and in the game room. Two outdoor pools, one with a swim-up bar, are rimmed by sundecks. A sand terrace is furnished with umbrellas, thatched-roof palapas and padded lounge chairs. The terrace contains a 12-person spa tub and a volleyball net. Massage may be requested at an open-air gazebo. An independently operated dive shop located at the resort arranges dives and offers four levels of scuba-diving certification.
Guestrooms. The Coral Princess Hotel and Resort offers 136 guestrooms and suites distributed between two nine-story towers. Rooms offer step-out balconies with forest or Caribbean Sea views. Studios provide small refrigerators and coffeemakers, while suites with private bedrooms offer complete kitchens. All accommodations include cable television.
Expert Tip. This resort offers perks that include complimentary tai chi and yoga classes. Guests also receive discounted tee times at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Cozumel Country Club located two kilometers away.
