Location. The McClelland-Priest Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in Napa, Calif., one-quarter mile from the Gustavo Thrace winery and the Napa River. The Lynch Vineyards are one-half mile from the inn. Shopping at Napa Premium Outlets is less than two miles away. World-class restaurants are available in Yountville, Calif., approximately nine miles from the inn.
Features. The front entrance of this historic 1879 Victorian-style bed and breakfast features stained glass doors opening into a grand foyer. Complimentary two-course gourmet breakfasts are served every morning. The early evening reception features hors d'oeuvres and fine Napa Valley Wines. Concierge services, meeting facilities and business services are available for a fee. The inn's foyer leads to a formal parlor, offering seating by a fireplace and a piano. The inn features hand-casted bronze chandeliers, ornate hardwood flooring, hand-crafted plaster ceilings and European antiques. Self-guided winery tours are available and the inn arranges to have the tasting fees waived. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the McClelland-Priest B&B Inn are named after famed composers, writers and artists. Each room features a private bathroom and select rooms feature sleigh beds and four-poster beds. The Roma Suite, the Puccini Suite and the Verdi Suite feature 14-foot ceilings, fireplaces and jetted tubs. The Firenze Suite features a door to a outdoor garden terrace, a jetted tub, a wood-carved fireplace and an Italianate carved bed.
Expert Tip. Sole' Spa and Fitness, located inside the inn, offers relaxation treatments, including couples massages and aromatic facials, and private Yoga, Pilates, Resistance and Cardio training sessions for a fee. The spa overlooks the inn's private floral and herb garden.
