Location. The Ocean Key Resort is located on the south end of Virginia Beach, Va., one block from the ocean boardwalk and beach. The Virginia Beach Fishing Center is one block from the hotel. The Virginia Beach Amusement Park is one-half mile away. The amusement park offers rides and games.
Features. The activity center also offers use of a computer with complimentary high-speed Internet access and printing capabilities. The Ocean Key Resort lobby is decorated in soft colors and beach accents. The hotel includes an indoor pool and a fitness center open 24-hours and featuring cardiovascular and weight training equipment, balance ball, mats, television and a scale. The hotel offers an activities center with foosball, arcade games and billiards. A children's game room includes a play gym, chalkboard and television.
Guestrooms. The Ocean Key Resort's condo-style guestrooms are equipped with kitchenettes including mini-refrigerators, microwave ovens, blenders, toasters, coffeemakers, stove tops and utensils. Dining areas offer extra seating as do sofa beds. Cable television is provided in the bedrooms and living areas of the guestrooms. In-room safes are included. Guestrooms include wicker furniture and beach décor. Light beach colors continue in the bedroom where framed prints hang above the beds. Large wall mirrors add a sense of space in the bedrooms.
Expert Tip. The Ocean Key Resort is one block from the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, a three-mile promenade. Three oceanfront stages provide evening entertainment in the summer.
