Location. This oceanfront resort is located on the boardwalk in Virginia Beach, Va. The Virginia Beach Amusement Park is one-half mile from the property and the Virginia Beach Convention Center is less than two miles away. The resort's Atlantic Avenue location is close to nightclubs with live bands, restaurants and comedy clubs. Beach Street USA, a diverse array of street performers along Atlantic Avenue between 17th and 25th Streets, starts at 8 p.m. every night.
Features. Ocean Sands Resort & Spa features a Caribbean theme and family-oriented atmosphere. The resort's restaurant, Simply Italian, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner between March and October. The resort provides 24-hour front-desk service, complimentary Internet access in a public room, meeting rooms by reservation, and fax and photo-copy services for a fee. Resort amenities include an indoor pool, tiki deck, spa tub, sauna, and fitness center with cardio-vascular and strength-training machines. Massage and tanning services are also available.
