Location. Elegant resort ambience, rugged mountain ranges and endless gaming opportunities converge at Harrah's Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino. Located in Stateline, Nev., this impressive resort is just two blocks from Lake Tahoe and the Gondola at Heavenly Ski Resort.
Hotel Features. Upon entering the hotel, guests discover stone floors that lead to a wood-paneled lobby. The lobby is accented with Comstock-era, glass-etched scenes, and photos of founder Bill Harrah standing among Hollywood celebrities. Nevada's radiant skies are visible above a glass-domed indoor pool and spa tub where guests can also take advantage of a fitness center with a sauna and a steam room. The tranquil on-site spa, Reflections, features a complete menu of skin and body treatments. Adults can pursue casino action 24 hours per day, and the Casino Center Stage hosts regularly scheduled live entertainment. Parents and children can participate in activities provided at the 12,000-square-foot Family fun Center while the Kid's Camp features supervised activities such as hiking, swimming and bowling. On the 18th floor, Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill provides views of the lake and mountains. The Forest Buffet includes a Sunday champagne brunch. In total, Harrah's includes thirteen food and beverage outlets, and several are available 24-hours a day. There is a cigar bar that offers a selection of smokes, wines and premium liquors.
Guestrooms. The 512 guestrooms housed within an 18-story tower are double-soundproofed and feature bay windows, many of which offer lake or mountain views. Accommodations have marble entryways, sitting areas, desks, and two bathrooms, each with a telephone and television. Wireless Internet access is offered, as are focused bedside reading lights.
Expert Tip. Guests have easy access through a covered, street-level passageway to Harvey's Lake Tahoe, the hotel's companion property. Harvey's allures include a Cabo Wabo Cantina and Improv Comedy Club.
