Location. The Inn at El Gaucho is in the Belltown neighborhood near downtown Seattle, Wash. The hotel is less than one-quarter mile from the Terminal 30 Cruise Terminal. The hotel is within one-half mile of the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Museum, Key Arena and Space Needle. Pike Street Market, the Seattle Aquarium and the Seattle Art Museum are less than one mile away. The hotel is one mile from the Fifth Avenue Theater.
Hotel Features. Located on the first floor of The Inn at El Gaucho's building, El Gaucho restaurant serves 28-day dry-aged Certified Angus Prime Beef to live piano music nightly. Cuisine includes Chateaubriand for Two, Hazelnut-Crusted Rack of Lamb and Tableside Caesar Salad. The hotel provides 15,000 square feet of events space. The Big Picture, a movie house specializing in independent films, is housed in the building. The hotel offers discounted passes to a health club and five blocks away.
Guestrooms. Located on the second floor and accessible by stairs, The Inn at El Gaucho's 18 guestrooms feature views of the Atrium, Belltown, Elliott Bay, Olympic Mountains or Puget Sound. Pillowtop beds offer Anichini linens made from 100 percent Egyptian cotton. Featherbeds and comforters are made by Pacific Coast Feather Co. Rooms include sofas and armchairs handcrafted from Italian leather in retro 1950s style. High-definition plasma televisions, Bose stereo CD players, and complimentary wired and wireless Internet access are provided. Bathrooms feature rainfall showerheads, Philip B botanical hair products and L'Occitane toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Space Needle's observation deck, 520 feet above the city, offers views of Puget Sound, Mt. Rainier, the Cascade Mountains and the city below. Complimentary Swarovski Telescopes are available for use. The deck includes graphics and descriptions about the surrounding landmarks.
