Guestrooms. This smoke-free hotel offers 119 modern contemporary Andrea Dawson-designed guestrooms decorated with khaki-colored walls, minimalist dark-wood furnishings and brushed stainless accents. Beds feature 315-thread count Egyptian sheets, white goose-down pillows, goose-down comforters and alpaca headboards. Minibars are stocked with beverages, and snack items are available for purchase. All rooms include LCD flat-screen televisions. Bathrooms are painted in Icelandic blue, feature original white tile, and are stocked with Face Stockholm toiletries. Bathrooms include Frette towels and 100-percent cotton waffle-weave spa bathrobes.
Expert Tip. The Hotel Andra offers extras such as custom ice chests which are located on every floor and contain pre-packaged bags of ice. Also, instead of leaving complimentary newspapers at the threshold of every guestroom, newspapers are conveniently hung in black bags from guestroom door handles. Lastly, all rooms have direct phone numbers, thus eliminating the need to relay calls through the reception desk.
