Location. The Safety Harbor Resort & Spa in Fla., is a therapeutic retreat on 22 acres of waterfront land. Overlooking Tampa Bay, the resort is Florida's only spa built over natural mineral springs. Adjacent to the city's marina, the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is within 10 miles of area attractions including Philippe Park and the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club
Hotel Features. Dining options include Fountain Grille Restaurant, which serves Mediterranean-style cuisine with a Caribbean influence for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the seasonal poolside Tiki Bar. Complimentary Internet access along with meeting and banquet space is offered. Over 70 different wet and dry skin treatments such as facials, Swedish massage and reflexology are offered for guests 18 and older in the 50,000 square foot spa. An advanced fitness center is equipped with personal trainers, machines and classes. The resort boasts steam rooms, saunas, four mineral springs, whirlpool tubs and three pools containing purified mineral spring water.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature views of the Bay off a patio or balcony. Premium bedding and complimentary Aveda designer toiletries are offered. Complimentary bottled water is provided along with coffeemakers and refrigerators on request. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. Turndown service is available on request.
Expert Tip. Safety Harbor Resort and Spa is built on the site of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto's Fountain of Youth, discovered in 1530. The mineral spring water is used throughout the property.
