Location. The Atwood Lake Resort is on a hilltop bordering Atwood Lake in Sherrodsville, Ohio. The hotel is one-and-one-half miles from Atwood Lake Park and its on-site swimming beach.
Hotel Features. The hotel features Atwood Lake Resort Golf Course, an 18-hole regulation course with a par-70 layout. Additional golf options include a nine-hole lighted par-three course and a lighted driving range. Other activities include bicycle rentals, planned resort activities and wooded trails that wind through the property's grounds. Supervised kids' activities are offered during weekends and summer months. The resort boasts a fitness center, spa tub, seasonal outdoor pool, heated indoor pool and five lighted tennis courts. A game room includes ping pong, billiards, air hockey and video arcade games. The Lodge Grill, featuring a stone fireplace centerpiece, provides panoramic views of Atwood Lake. Karaoke takes place in the Lakeview Lounge on Friday and Saturday nights. The Golden Pheasant Spa offers signature treatments such as Calm, Renew, Focus or Radiant massages. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in select areas throughout the property.
Guestrooms. All 104 guestrooms are dressed in warm colors and traditional décor. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to balconies or patios overlooking Atwood Lake or the wooded hillside. Cable television is available. Bathrooms offer bath/shower combinations and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Visit Atwood Lake Marina West, located three miles from the resort, to board scenic lake cruises. The marina also rents kayaks and boats by the hour, day or week.
