Location. Positioned just four miles from fantastic shopping and dining at Tlaquepaque, the Sedona Summit Resort enjoys a superb location in Sedona, Ariz. Pine forests loom in the distance, and the city is flanked by eroded walls and massive red-rock buttes that seem ablaze in the foreground of immaculate sunsets. Features. Fantastic vistas and traditional Southwestern architecture instill a unique sense of serenity only found in Sedona. Safe-deposit boxes are located at the 24-hour front desk, and the staff provides concierge and business services. Two computer workstations are located in the lobby for guests' use, offering complimentary high-speed Internet access. DVD and video rentals are available at the front desk. Guests enjoy discounted access to a nearby fitness center. Four jetted tubs and three outdoor pools are on site. One of the pools and one of the jetted tubs are for adult use only.
Guestrooms. The resort offers studio and one-bedroom condo-style accommodations decorated in rich tones with Southwestern style. Studios are furnished with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. One-bedroom units feature kitchens with ranges and dishwashers, jetted tubs, fireplaces, and washers and dryers. All units offer VCRs and/or DVD players, cable television with premium channels and patios or balconies. The resort provides a mid-week cleaning for stays of four nights or more.
Expert Tip. Sedona is a center for the New Age movement popular for its "power vortexes," geological formations that are said to hold specific energies. Publications and services about town advertise the healing benefits of everything from past-life regressions and tarot readings to aromatherapy and electromagnetic field balancing.
Please Note: This hotel is currently undergoing heavy construction to provide additional deluxe suites and amenities. During the construction period, there will be heavy equipment, noise, and construction personnel on site. Expected completion: May 2008.
