Location. The Camano Island Waterfront Inn is positioned on secluded Camano Island, Wash., located in the Puget Sound east of Whidbey Island and south of the San Juan Islands. The beach is accessible via a set of stairs leading from the inn to the waterfront. Restaurants, cafes and bistros are available approximately 10 miles away in the city of Stanwood, Wash.
Features. This bed and breakfast features traditional Arts and Crafts styling, with stone front porch supports, a low- pitched roof and an exterior stone chimney. Full, complimentary breakfasts, which typically include an egg dish, fresh fruit, baked goods, juice and coffee, are served in the dining room or delivered to the guestrooms in a basket. Beer, wine and champagne are available to purchase. Business amenities include conference rooms and fax and photocopy services. Complimentary kayaks are available for use on the Puget Sound. Hot stone massages are provided at the inn for a fee. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. The Camano Island Waterfront Inn offers six waterfront rooms with private decks. King rooms include decks with hot tubs. All accommodations feature private bathrooms with heated tile floors, walk-in showers and bathrobes. Rooms boast sunset views and original artwork by local artists. Select rooms offer jetted tubs. Featherbeds are topped with duvets. Cable television, VCRs and CD players are included in all guest accommodations.
Expert Tip. The 134-acre Camano Island State Park, located approximately three miles from the inn, offers 6,700 feet of rocky shoreline and beach for seasonal clamming. Salmon fishing, an underwater scuba trail and a five-mile, self-guided nature trail are also available.
