Expert Tip. Valentine Hill built the original homestead at the Three Chimneys Inn in 1649, and set up the sawmill at the falls on Oyster River. The spirit of a descendant of Valentine Hill, named Hannah, is said to reside at the inn. Both the staff and guests have witnessed the shadow, face, touch or vintage clothing of Hannah, as well as mysterious sounds and movement of furniture.
