Location. Harbour Lights sits directly adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The all-suite resort is less than five miles from the beach and within driving distance to outlet malls, theaters, live entertainment and golf courses. The famed Medieval Times dinner show is less than a quarter-mile walk. Fishing is available at Pier 14 Fishing Pier, a little over three miles away. Features. A tree-lined drive leads guests past a decorative lighthouse to the colorful pastel buildings of the Harbour Lights, located in an upscale community called the Fantasy Harbour Complex. Recreational amenities are plentiful at the resort, which features a lazy river, an indoor pool and a children's pool. An outdoor pool and jetted tub are embedded in a sundeck with lounge chairs and a poolside cabana. Bicycle rentals, ping pong, a pool table and video rentals are available on site.
Guestrooms. Full suites at Harbour Lights offer separate living and sleeping areas, in addition to kitchens. Studios have a mini-fridge and microwave. The cheery accommodations are dressed in bright colors and nautical decor. Entertainment amenities include cable television, CD players and DVD players. All suites except studios offer balconies. The Harbour Lights units are located in several different buildings, some of which may not have elevators.
Expert Tip. Rumor has it that Universal Studios and Planet Hollywood are collaborating to build an amusement park in the empty lot that used to be the Waccamaw Outlet Mall, one-quarter mile from the property.
