Location. Located in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kingston Plantation Condos is 100 yards from the beach, one-half mile from Arcadian Shores golf course and one mile from the Tanger Outlet Center. A shuttle takes guests around the resort and to attractions within two miles.
Features. A winding drive lined with gardens, lakes and trees leads up to the 145-acre property. The resort features several restaurants and lounges, including Omaha Steakhouse and Café Amalfi, featuring casual fine dining with oceanfront views. Two poolside cafes, Beachcombers and Splash Café and Bar, serve tropical cocktails on the pool deck and a quick lunch or snacks by the pool. Fisheye Grill offers low-country cuisine. Nightwatch Lounge, Wet Whistle and The Veranda Bar offer cocktails and ocean views. A bakery and Starbucks coffee shop are also on site. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. The resort features 100,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center. This resort's centerpiece is Splash, a 50,000-square-foot pool complex with a lazy river, water spouts, slides and jet sprays. The Sports and Health Club features indoor and outdoor lap pools, clay and hard surface tennis courts, an aerobics studio, fitness equipment and three squash and racquetball courts. Guests receive preferred tee times and complimentary transportation to Arcadian Shores at Kingston Plantation.
Guestrooms. The Kingston Plantation Condos offers 1,400 units in a wooded, residential setting. All accommodations feature balconies or patios, cable television and DVD players. Villas and condos are individually decorated and equipped with full kitchens, including refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, dishwashers, blenders and coffeemakers.
Hotel Expert's Tip. Try your hand at Kingston Plantation's Arcadian Shores, a par-72 championship golf course created by leading designer Rees Jones. Numerous lakes, deviously-placed bunkers, wooded fairways and Tifton Bermuda greens combine natural beauty and challenges for every level of player.
