Location. The quiet Arcadian Shores section of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., serves as the setting for the oceanfront Sands Beach Club Resort. Located just two miles from shopping and dining at Barefoot Landing, the Sands Beach Club is convenient to family-oriented theme parks, attractions, and water sports. The House of Blues and Tanger Outlets are within two miles.
Features. This Myrtle Beach resort is surrounded by a natural marsh and offers numerous amenities, such as fishing and paddle boats, in a secluded, family-oriented atmosphere. The ocean-view Toppers at the Pointe Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Toppers at the Pointe Bar serves cocktails and appetizers. Complimentary wireless internet is available throughout the resort. The hotel provides full access to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, children's pool and a sports deck with a volleyball, tennis and basketball court. Sands Kids Club offers supervised children's activities seasonally.
Guestrooms. Sands Beach Club Resort offers 110 guestrooms spread throughout a five-story building and an 11- story building. All guestrooms feature kitchens with refrigerators, stoves, microwave ovens, coffeemakers, dishes and dishwashers. Furnished, walk-out balconies offer partial or full views of the ocean.
Hotel Expert's Tip. An extended golf cart will transport you to the popular Ocean Annie's Bar at the Sands Ocean Club next door during the summer season. The concierge told me that the bar features nightly karaoke and large crowds.
