Dining options include the sophisticated brasserie La Riviera. This fine-dining restaurant prepares Mediterranean specialties and contemporary French cuisine with Latin-American-inspired influences. Le Petite Marché serves Starbucks coffee. Le Bar serves snacks, and domestic domestic and international drinks. Flexible function space accommodates up to 600 guests, theater style. A business center contains four computer stations, and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. An outdoor pool overlooks the Blue Lagoon, and a complimentary 24-hour fitness center houses stationary cycles, treadmills and free weights. Fresh fruit and towels are provided. Two tennis courts are illuminated for evening matches. The hotel concierge can arrange transportation to the Doral Country Club, the Port of Miami and the Dolphin Mall, for a fee. Transportation to and from Miami International Airport is complimentary, and overnight parking is available to guests, for a fee.
Guestrooms. The 15-story Sofitel Miami offers 281 guestrooms with French Art Deco décor and fabrics designed in rich colors. Beds are draped with 250-thread count linens and white duvets, and are topped with down pillows and a zebra-print accent pillow. A zebra-print chair complements the guestrooms' theme. Refrigerators are available, upon request. Suites feature MP3 adaptors. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available, for a fee.
Expert Tip. An electronic kiosk located in the Sofitel Miami's gift shop prints personal copies of almost any international newpaper in the world.
