Loy's Farm Bed & Breakfast is located in Iowa's River Valley in Marengo, Iowa. The property sits on 1,500 acres of rolling farmland three miles off Interstate 80, which connects Iowa City and Des Moines. The Amana Colonies, a grouping of historic villages and shops over 150 years old, are approximately 20 miles from the property.
This secluded bed and breakfast is surrounded by cornfields, flower gardens and woodland for hunting deer and pheasant. Loy's Farm Bed & Breakfast is a working farm harvesting corn and soybeans. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served daily, with entrees chosen from 15 different options by guests the night before. A complimentary, stocked snack bar is available. The inn boasts a recreation room with a pool table, table tennis and shuffleboard. Outdoor equipment, including horseshoes, basketballs and a swing set, are available. Sitting areas are provided in the inn's library, lobby and screened-in porch. Laundry facilities are available. Pets are not allowed.
Loy's Farm Bed & Breakfast offers one guestroom with a private bathroom and two guestrooms with shared bathrooms. The bed and breakfast's Carousel guestroom is decorated with carousel appointments and modern furnishings. It is positioned next to the common room and recreation room, and offers a private bathroom.
