Location. The Carriage House Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the Daniels Hill Historic District of Lynchburg, Va., one of the "Seven Hills" surrounding the downtown area. The Lynchburg Museum, located in the Old City Courthouse at the top of Monument Terrace in downtown Lynchburg, is less than one mile from the inn. The Academy of Fine Arts offers art galleries, concerts and live performances less than one mile away. Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College is two miles from the property. Features. This Italianate-style mansion, built in 1878, features a wraparound front porch furnished with white wicker chairs and wooden rocking chairs.
