Location. The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills is located in Los Angeles, Calif. The hotel is two blocks from Beverley Center and two miles from the designer shops on Rodeo Drive. The Hollywood Bowl is five miles away.
Hotel Features. Interiors of the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills were created by noted designer Philippe Starck, and feature modern furnishing and wood paneling accented with warm colors. The outdoor pool deck on the sixth floor offers city views and includes chaise lounges, cabanas with DVD players, and dining and cocktail services. The Ciel at SLS Spa provides salon services, and massage, facial and aromatherapy treatments. The spa offers a juice and tea bar, steam rooms and private lounges. The 24-hour fitness center includes free weights, cardio and weight training equipment, and personal training. The hotel features more than 30,000 square feet of function space, including a ballroom, private dining areas and three outdoor venues. Wireless Internet is available for a fee throughout the hotel. Dining options include The Bazaar, featuring the gourmet Spanish cuisine of Chef José Andrés. Rojo serves tapas, and Pâtisserie offers fine pastries and desserts. Tres Restaurant provides all-day dining and cocktail service. The Bazaar serves brunch from late morning until mid-afternoon Saturdays and Sundays. Room service is available 24 hours.
Guestrooms. Guestroom décor includes soft lighting and earth tones. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, down duvets, and 300-thread count, monogrammed Porthault linens. Hypoallergenic bedding is provided on request. Amenities include iPod docking stations and 40-inch, high-definition, flat-screen televisions with DVD players. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee. Stocked bars are provided. Bathrooms offer bathrobes, and separate rainforest shower and soaking tub areas. In-room massages are available.
Expert Tip. The menu of the lobby restaurant, The Bazaar, was created by Chef José Andrés, who has hosted a television series on Spanish cuisine, and who was named Chef of the Year by Bon Appétit magazine in 2004.
