The Lillagaard Inn, located in the historical town of Ocean Grove, N.J., is less than one block from the boardwalk and Ocean Grove Beach.
This historic inn features three turrets and exterior corridor balconies on each level. Public rooms in the house include the "English kitchen" dining room, where continental breakfasts are served daily. An additional formal dining room is available for intimate gatherings. Also available on site is a library, a television/game room and an old-fashioned front porch. A Victorian tea room is the venue for an afternoon tea with dainty desserts, finger sandwiches, and scones (offered only on weekends). Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms at The Lillagaard Inn feature porches, some offering ocean views. Select rooms include private bathrooms. Hand-painted murals by local artist Barbara Climer are located in the rooms. The Beach Memory room features antique furniture and a separate sitting room.
