Location. Mediterranean-styling and casual ambience intersect at South Point, a hotel and casino located five miles from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nev. Guestrooms. The 1,350 guestrooms are embellished with mixed-wood furnishings, paneled draperies, upholstered chairs, framed landscapes and accents in antique gold, peach and claret. Bedding features down comforters and triple sheeting, while bathrooms contain marble vanities and Essential Elements toiletries. Expert Tip. The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas hosts Viva Vision, the biggest big screen on the planet. Over 12 million lights and 550,000 watts of sound are incorporated into complimentary shows which occur nightly on the hour beginning at dusk.
