Location. The ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores occupies six beachfront acres along Maui's west coast in Kaanapali, Maui, Hawaii. This property stands one mile from Whalers Village shops and restaurants, and two miles from Kaanapali golf courses.
Features. The hotel's open-air lobby is decorated with Polynesian artwork and tropical greenery. The Beach Club Restaurant serves Hawaiian and American-style fare, while the restaurant's bar schedules live contemporary Hawaiian entertainment on specified weekdays. Two staffed activity desks assist with tour plans, and offer recreation and entertainment suggestions. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel. An Internet kiosk is available for guest use, and the hotel offers business services for a fee. Recreational amenities include an outdoor garden pool surrounded by a stone sundeck, while a lagoon pool borders the ocean. Use of three illuminated tennis courts is complimentary. Guestrooms. This nine-story property houses 423 guestrooms, studios and suites decorated with dark-wood, rattan and wicker furnishings. Color schemes include khaki, cream and olive-green accents. Accommodations extend onto furnished balconies. Beds are dressed with white linens and feather duvets. Technological enhancements include cable television and complimentary wireless Internet access. Suites and studios contain full kitchens. Suites also include dining sets, and washers and dryers with detergent samples.
Expert Tip. The ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores hosts Polynesian poolside reviews one evening each week. This lively gathering serves punch and features island-style music and dance. Those who wish to learn more about island life first hand may accept one complimentary hula lesson, and a complimentary scuba-diving lesson offered through the resort's dive shop.
