Location. The Chesterfield Inn in West Chesterfield, N.H., sits near the Vermont border six miles east of the 13,000-acre Pisgah National Forest. The city of Brattleboro, Vt., is located across the river two miles from the inn and offers a quaint Main Street area with galleries, restaurants, bookstores, cafes and bars. Antique shopping, hiking and golfing are available within five miles.
Features. This American Colonial style inn, resting on a hillside, overlooks the Connecticut River Valley and the Green Mountains. The inn's grounds contain green fields, towering trees, a pond and over a dozen perennial gardens. Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfasts are served daily in the dining room, and are available for room delivery upon request. Complimentary afternoon tea is also included.
