Location. ResortQuest Rentals at Isle of Palms & Wild Dunes encompasses a beachfront community bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway in Isle of Palms, S.C. The property is a mile from the Isle of Palms Marina and 15 miles from the museums, restored plantations, and preserved churches connected by cobblestone streets of Charleston, S.C.
Features. This 1,600-acre resort, comprised of several accommodations in a private gated community, includes two Tom Fazio-designed championship golf courses, a full-service marina and direct access to the beach. Casual dining is available at the Morgan Creek Grill or The Post House. The Caribbean-style One Eyed Parrot specializes in seafood, and the Village Chop House is known for its steak. Guests receive access to a seasonal oceanfront pool, 17 tennis courts and miles of scenic bike paths. The resort offers concierge services to assist in planning activities including golf, Jet skiing, boat rentals, and dinner or tour reservations. Child care is available for a fee. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. Villas at the ResortQuest Rentals at Isle of Palms & Wild Dunes are privately-owned, and are individually decorated according to the owners' tastes. All villas feature screened-in porches or decks, full kitchens, living rooms, and washers and dryers. Complimentary Internet access, cable television and VCRs are included. Accommodations are provided with a starter supply of linens and towels. Weekly departure cleaning is included, and daily maid service is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. A popular local tour takes visitors by ferry to the Bull Island Wildlife Refuge, which is home to red wolves, storks, and loggerhead sea turtles.
