Location. The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a smoke-free property located in Shawnee on Delaware, Pa., among the Poconos Mountains and along the Delaware River.
Hotel Features. The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort offers four dining options. For dining "al fresco", the Bistro offers an outdoor café and bistro. River Room restaurant offers views of the golf course and woods. Charlie's Bar serves beverages and light fare. Sam Snead's Tavern is a golf-themed eatery with televisions, golf simulators and wood furnishings. Spa Shawnee offers signature treatments and massages to help rejuvenate the body. The hotel offers space for small meetings or gatherings of up to 300 people. The Worthington Ballroom features chandeliers, vaulted ceilings and a dance floor. The hotel's business center includes computer stations with speakers and high-speed Internet access. This Pennsylvania hotel offers golf lessons, canoeing, skiing and live entertainment. The hotel includes indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness center with cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort are equipped with cable television and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Expert Tip.The hotel was designed and built by C.C. Worthington in 1911 with a golf course designed by golf architect A.W. Tillinghast. The golf course served as the site for the 1938 PGA Championship.

Guests who book the Summer River room receive one (1) River Adventure ticket per person. River Adventure offers canoeing, rafting, kayaking and tubing down the Delaware River.
Golf Course Closure:
The hotel's golf course will be closed until September 9, 2006.
Outdoor Pool Closure:
The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations and the outdoor pool will be closed for the remainder of the 2006 season.
