The Julietta House is located in Gloucester, Mass., on the edge of the city's historic district. Trains to Boston, Rockport or Salem are accessible two blocks away. Main Street's restaurants, museums and art galleries are within one-half mile of the property. Seven Seas Whale Watch, also one-half mile away, takes advantage of Gloucester Harbor's location between two whale feeding grounds. Built in 1860, this Georgian style home overlooks the distant Gloucester Harbor and features beamed ceilings, three-dimensional paneling, columned staircases and transitional chandeliers. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided each morning. A common kitchen and refrigerator are available for guests' use. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided. Pets are not allowed at this property.
The Julietta House offers eight guestrooms decorated with antiques and family heirlooms. All bathrooms offer toiletries, and six of the eight units include private bathrooms. Select rooms feature distant views of Gloucester Harbor. Premium rooms are equipped with cable television. Units feature cotton bedding. Guestrooms are cooled with window-unit air conditioners in the summer.
