Location. Less than three miles from the Missouri border, the Chase Suite Hotel Overland Park is conveniently located in Overland Park, Kansas. A suburb of Kansas City, the city is home to the Sprint Nextel Corporation. Several shopping centers and restaurants are within one mile of the hotel, with many more to be found in the surrounding area. Kansas City has plenty more to do, particularly at Country Club Plaza, a 14-square-block area boasting more than 180 shops, restaurants and clubs. Originally a trading post, Kansas City was the starting point for the California, Santa Fe and Oregon trails. Now a sprawling metropolis, the city has managed to maintain a small-town atmosphere. There are lots of parks and greenery spread amongst the rolling hills of the area, making it perfect for festivals and outdoor events.
