Location. Passages Inn Gettysburg is located in the historic district of Gettysburg, Pa., one block from the Shriver House Museum. Haunted Gettysburg Tours and the Majestic Theater Performing Arts & Cultural Center are one-quarter mile from the inn. The Gettysburg National Military Park is less than one mile away. Features. Built in 1834, this renovated pre-Civil War home features artifacts from around the world collected by the owners during their travels. Complimentary gourmet breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. For early risers, coffee and tea are offered in the guest service area, which includes a refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks, juices and bottled water. The parlor features a built-in bookcase filled with books for guests' use. Pets are not allowed at the property.
Guestrooms. Passages Inn Gettysburg offers three guestrooms on the second floor reflecting European, Australasia and African themes. All accommodations are furnished with antiques. The European and Australasia rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with showers. The African room offers a full private bathroom with a shower and tub down the hall. Cable television is provided in all rooms.
Expert Tip. Abraham Lincoln stayed at the David Wills House the night before he delivered his famous Gettysburg Address, located less than one-third mile from the inn. The house and Lincoln's bedroom are open to the public. Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address at the Soldier's National Cemetery at the Gettysburg National Military Park, located less than one mile away.
