Location. The 63 Orange Street Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in the historic district of St. Augustine, Fla., two blocks from the old St. Augustine City Gates, which date back to the early 1770s. The oldest wooden school house in the United States is located approximately three blocks from the inn. Historic St. George Street offers many unique shops and attractions within four blocks from the property. Potters Wax Museum and the historic Fountain of Youth park are approximately one mile away.
Features. This Victorian-style bed and breakfast features 11-foot ceilings and antique furnishings. First- and second-floor porches, stretching across the front of the house, offer white wicker furniture. Complimentary three-course, home-cooked breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. On weekends, complimentary afternoon refreshments are offered, including fruit, cheese, hors d'oeuvres, fresh coffee, tea and wine. Coffee, tea and cookies are provided throughout the day. Fax service is available at the inn. The 63 Orange Street Bed and Breakfast Inn offers a library and two parlors. The front parlor features a fireplace with the original hand-carved mantle, and the back parlor includes overstuffed loveseats and cable television. Horse and carriage rides, which pick up guests at the inn's front door, are available. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. The guestrooms at the 63 Orange Street Bed and Breakfast Inn feature vaulted ceilings and the original heart pine floors. Each room offers a private bathroom, cable television and complimentary wireless Internet access. All rooms include feather pillows and bathrobes. Kate's Room features an iron bed, armoire, sitting area, and a claw-foot soaking tub and shower. A private balcony in Kate's Room overlooks flower gardens and a goldfish pond.
