Location. Sublimely located in the village at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, the Beaver Creek Lodge is a premier Colorado mountain resort. An ice rink is located next to the resort and shopping, dining and entertainment venues are within one-block of the resort. Fabulous mountain vistas invoke an unparalleled serenity that visitors return for year after year. Outdoor fun includes biking, fishing, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning and golf at a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course. Vail's Tyrolean-style village, 12 miles from the property, boasts trendy shopping along with fine restaurants and the obvious recreational pursuits. Hotel Features. Guests are greeted into a stylish lobby with deep red accents, hand-carved furniture and exquisite artwork. An atrium gallery features interesting sculptures depicting rock climbers ascending the six stories to the top. Rocks Modern Grill serves up regional cuisine and cocktails, and Rocks on the Run offers ready-to-go meals. The resort boasts an indoor/outdoor pool, a jetted tub, a sauna and a fitness center. Ski and golf club storage is available and there are sports and gift shops on site. Conference space is available and wireless Internet access is offered in public areas. Other amenities include concierge service and guest laundry facilities.
Guestrooms. All of the soundproofed guestrooms feature contemporary décor, gas fireplaces and kitchenettes with sinks, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Two televisions in each unit come equipped with cable and DVD players, with video-game consoles available upon request.
Expert Tip. The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, ten miles from the resort in Vail, offer a relaxing break from mountain activity. At 8,200 feet, the gardens are definitively unique and feature around 2,000 varieties of plants plus a rock garden and a 120-foot waterfall.
