Location. Mariner's Resort Villas & Marina, a Keys Caribbean Resort, sits oceanfront in Key Largo, Fla., adjacent to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and Molasses Reef. This resort offers a variety of water sports, including parasailing, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and water skiing. The condos and townhomes surround a 45-slip deep-water marina.
Features. Mariner's Resort Villas & Marina is a gated community with oceanfront dining and an array of unique resort amenities. The resort's Mandalay Restaurant & Tiki Bar serves fresh local seafood and features live entertainment most nights. There is a business center and banquet accommodations capable of servicing up to 150 guests. A 66-slip dry storage boat facility is available at the resort. Mariner's coral Jacuzzi grotto, which is made up of an outdoor pool and coral spa tub, was designed to replicate an underwater diving or snorkeling experience. Other resort amenities include tennis courts, a fitness center and a clubhouse.
Guestrooms. This resort offers condos and townhomes with marina, ocean or hardwood hammock views. One-bedroom units offer kitchenettes, and the larger condos and townhomes include fully equipped kitchens with microwave ovens, dishwashers, coffeemakers and blenders. Units with two or more bedrooms also feature private balconies and jetted tubs in the main bathrooms. Cable television, VCRs and DVD players are provided.
Expert Tip. Mariner's Resort Villas & Marina offers paddle boat, kayak and WaveRunner rentals. A professional dive shop, located at the resort, offers dive and fishing charters, scuba instruction and equipment rentals.
