Williamsport, the home of Little League Baseball, hosts the World Series each August. Along with Penn College, the Williamsport area is known for its institutes of higher learning Lycoming College, Bucknell, Lock Haven, and Mansfield Universities. Also a short distance away is Penn State University which is the home of the Nittany Lions and the Bryce Jordan Center. This area also hosts many PIAA and NCAA tournaments. Other local attractions include Millionaires Row, the PA Grand Canyon, Belles Springs and White Deer Golf Courses, Oregon Hill and Bastress Mountain Wineries, Knoebels Amusement Park, Clyde Peelings Reptile Land, Ski Sawmill, and the Hiawatha Riverboat.
