Location. The King's Creek Plantation, located in historic Williamsburg, Va., is adjacent to the Water Country USA water park and one mile from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Presidents Park, an educational museum featuring 18- to 20-foot busts of all 43 Presidents of the United States, is across the street. Colonial Williamsburg is three miles from the property. Yorktown, Va. and historic Jamestown, Va. are 11 miles away.
Features. This private gated community of cottages and town homes sets on rolling hills, blending with the natural beauty of the Virginia woodlands and detailed landscaping. Tennis courts and picnic areas with barbecue grills are dotted throughout the plantation where the cottages are located. This family-friendly resort offers a clubhouse and the adjacent King's Creek Commons and Aquatic Center with an L-shaped indoor pool, including a children's section, fully equipped ladies' and gentlemen's locker rooms, sauna, steam rooms and spa tubs. The center also houses a well-appointed lobby, check-in area and general store. The clubhouse features an outdoor pool, a sundeck with spa tubs and a fitness facility. An outdoor pool with a snack bar is available at the northern part of the plantation where the town homes are located. The property also offers basketball courts and jogging paths. The King's Creek Plantation features a children's pool and an activities program, including movie nights with popcorn. The resort also offers a playground and a game room in the resort's clubhouse.
Guestrooms. Cottages and town homes at the resort feature hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, fireplaces, and separate living and dining areas. All cottages offer decks and porches. Cottages are duplex-style, with two units per building. All one-bedroom cottages offer kitchenettes. The two-, three- and four-bedroom cottages feature stone fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens. The two-bedroom town homes feature garden tubs in the master bathrooms, wet bars, sunrooms and fully equipped kitchens. All accommodations offer washers and dryers. Cable television and VCR or DVD players are provided in all units.
