Location. ResortQuest Torian Plum is located in Ski Time Square, three miles from downtown Steamboat Springs, Colo. Summer or winter, Steamboat provides ample outdoor recreational activities. Opportunities exist for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and skiing and snowboarding. Dozens of galleries and almost 70 bars and restaurants are positioned about town, providing varioius off-mountain entertainment venues.
Features. This slopeside resort features ski-in/ski-out access, and an outdoor pool and spa tub. The fitness center offers both cardiovascular machines and weight training equipment, and tennis courts and a sauna are on site. A complimentary ski shuttle transports visitors about the mountain during ski season. Shopping is available at the property. Safe-deposit boxes are located at the 24-hour front desk, and the staff can assist with concierge and business services. Barbecue grills are available at the resort. A video library is offered for guests' use. Conference space is available at the resort. Laundry facilities located on site.
Guestrooms. Each of the one-, two- and three-bedroom condos of the ResortQuest Torian Plum offers views of the slopes and the Yampa Valley. All units feature private balconies and fireplaces. Washers and dryers are provided in all condos. Kitchens are fully equipped. All units feature jetted tubs. Entertainment centers offer CD stereos, cable television, VCRs and DVD players. High-speed Internet access is complimentary and in-room safes are provided.
Expert Tip. The Bridgestone Winter Driving School, one block from the ResortQuest Torian Plum resort, is the nation's first school for ice driving. Classes range from half-day introductory to two-day performance courses. Reservations are recommended.
