Location. Positioned on a private peninsula in the picturesque San Diego Bay is the three-story Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa in Coronado, Calif. Hotel Features.. Fine dining and an extensive wine list are highlighted at Azzura Point, which incorporates fresh ingredients from the resort's on-site garden into its California cuisine. Guestrooms. Located in five separate wings, the 438 guestrooms feature, furnished balconies offering views of the marina and pool or of San Diego Bay. Beachside décor is emphasized with a mix of blond-wood, rattan and mahogany-finished furnishings, live plants and accents in tones of tan, slate blue and soft grey. Bedding includes down comforters, pillowtop mattresses and 300-thread count linens. Tiled bathrooms feature glass-enclosed showers, deep soaking tubs, Bloom toiletries and the "Ultimate Doeskin" bathrobe by Chadsworth & Haig. Amenities include flat-screen televisions, CD players and high-speed Internet access.
