Location. The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables stands on the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Fla. The hotel is less than two miles from the Village of Merrick Park and Venetian Pool. Cocoa Walk is less than three miles from the property. Downtown Miami is five miles away.
Hotel Features. Dating back to the early 20th century, the Westin Colonnade Coral Gables incorporates elements of neo-classical design including an expansive rotunda, large pillars and marble grand staircase. The hotel features a 200-foot-long rooftop sundeck surrounded by bougainvillea. An expansive heated pool and spa tub are located adjacent to the sundeck. The hotel's health spa offers a sauna and spa tub. Hoja Nueva serves Latin cuisine in an indoor or outdoor setting. The hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet access in the lobby and the hotel's other public areas. Valet parking and self parking are available, for a fee, with an independent service. The hotel does not offer parking.
Guestrooms. Renovated in January 2007, the 157 guestrooms of the Westin Colonnade Coral Gables are located on the top four floors of a 15-story retail and office building. The expansive guestrooms feature separate bedrooms and sitting rooms with individual televisions offering cable channels. Sitting rooms showcase mahogany furniture, fresh flowers, work desks and color photographs and sketches from the early days of the Coral Gables. Bedrooms offer Westin's signature Heavenly Beds including custom-designed pillowtop mattresses, down blankets, triple sheeting, comforters, duvets and multiple pillows. Bathrooms feature dual showerheads with various spray options, curved shower rods, velour bathrobes, oversized towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
