Location. The Village at Breckenridge is a year-round resort enjoying an ideal location in Breckenridge, Colo. Just 100 yards from the Quicksilver Super 6 chairlift, the resort is flanked by restaurants and shopping, with many more just a short walk from the property. The riverside setting is perfect in the summer, when there are concerts and outdoor events. Maggie Pond, adjacent to the resort, offers ice-skating in the winter and paddleboat fun during the summer months. More than 150 shops and boutiques coexist amongst dozens of restaurants, bars, museums and galleries.
Features. The lobby features a log cabin design, complete with a fieldstone fireplace. The resort offers a heated indoor/outdoor pool, several spa tubs and a steam room. Guests can enjoy access to a nearby fitness center. Numerous restaurants and bars are located in the first-floor plaza, and there is over 30,000 square feet of conference area. Laundry facilities are located on site and dry cleaning services are available. Other services and amenities include child care, concierge and secretarial services.
Guestrooms. Several accommodation options are available, including standard hotel rooms, studios and condos. Each unit features cable television and dial-up Internet access. The one-bedroom (and larger) units feature a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. All studios also have a full kitchen. Hotel rooms are non-smoking and include a mini fridge.
Expert Tip. Breckenridge has a lively bar and nightclub scene. Sherpa & Yeti's hosts an impressive line-up of national musical acts.
