Location. The Always Inn Brown County Bed & Breakfast, nestled on State Road 46, is located in the arts and crafts colony of Nashville, Ind. The city's downtown area features over 350 specialty shops, including art galleries, jewelry stores, gift emporiums, wineries and boutiques eight miles from the property. The largest state park in Indiana, Brown County State Park, offers hiking, swimming, fishing, horseback riding and picnicking seven miles away.
Features. This country hideaway often serves as the setting for weddings and other special events, and occupies a serene wooded setting with trails, hammocks and a pond stocked with goldfish. Complimentary country breakfasts are served daily. The inn offers a wrap-around deck with patio furniture, bistro seating and rocking chairs. Huge picture windows allow for bird watching, and the house is enhanced with original artwork. A fireplace complements the guest lounge and dining room, which often serves as a venue for playing cards, board games, and watching television or videos from the inn's collection.
Guestrooms. Aromatherapy toiletries, bathrobes, Belgian chocolates, and bottled water are included in the seven guestrooms at the Always Inn Brown County Bed & Breakfast. All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms. Premium rooms feature fireplace stoves and jetted tubs. Super premium rooms are the largest rooms, with some boasting marble fireplaces or fireplace stoves. All Super premium rooms include single or two-person jetted tubs, and private balconies or porches. All units are equipped with satellite television with premium channels, XM radio, DVD players/VCRs and CD players. Refrigerators are provided.
Expert Tip. Every afternoon the bed and breakfast offers complimentary cookies and lemonade in the spring and summer. Brownies and hot chocolate are served in the fall and winter.
