Location. The Gaige House is located in Sonoma Valley wine country in the picturesque village of Glen Ellen, Calif. Jack London State Historic Park is two miles from the property. The Benziger Family Winery is five miles from the inn. Wine tasting rooms and tours, shops, cafes and restaurants in Sonoma are eight miles away.
Features. Set on three acres of land with gardens and a creek, this 1890 Victorian estate was converted into the 23-room Gaige House. The inn offers an outdoor pool, heated from March through November, and a year-round spa tub. Gourmet breakfasts are available each morning for a fee. Complimentary wine is served each evening for an hour. Cold drinks, coffee, hot tea and homemade cookies are offered 24 hours a day. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the inn. Pets are not allowed at the property.
Guestrooms. The Gaige House offers quiet guestrooms and suites with stylishly appointed décor. All suites feature fireplaces. The Studio Suites offer jetted tubs or two- person walk-in showers, private entrances and decks. The Zen Suites feature Asian modernist design with interior glass atriums, deep granite soaking tubs and two-person showers. All accommodations offer cable television, DVD players, CD players and complimentary wireless Internet access. Private bathrooms include bathrobes and complimentary designer toiletries.
Expert Tip. Soothing spa treatments are offered at the Gaige House, featuring massages, wraps, scrubs and facials by an experienced professional staff. Treatments are available throughout the three-acre property, including the roof-top deck, creekside, garden and tree house, as well as the spa room and guestrooms.
