Guestrooms. The 17-story Wyndham Chicago offers 417 contemporary guestrooms decorated in pastel tones with autumnal accents. Beds consist of pillowtop mattresses, Egyptian-cotton 250-thread count sheets, and white cotton duvets. Bathrooms include granite vanities and curved shower rods. Technological enhancements include CD players, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee.
Expert Tip. The Wyndham Chicago offers a package whereby American Girl fans may purchase American Girl bathrobes, perfect to wear while enjoying the hotel's complimentary milk and cookies. The hotel is also involved in a program whereby American Girl beds can be purchased only by staying at a participating hotel. Doll owners can then request evening turndown service on behalf of their dolls.
