Location. Located in historic downtown Chandler, Ariz., one block from shopping venues and two blocks from the Chandler Center for the Arts is the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort. Hotel Features. Classic American cuisine at AJ's Café includes creative salmon, chicken and beef dishes, Saturday night Prime Rib dinner buffets and made-to-order omelets at a weekly Sunday brunch. The 1912 Lounge features 12 martinis, 19 imported beers, sandwiches, appetizers and wine. Mulligan's Bar and Grill, located at the golf clubhouse, hosts light American fare. A Starbucks is located just off the lobby. Business amenities include conference rooms, business services and complimentary wireless Internet access. The salon and day spa, Images at San Marcos, offers treatments including cosmetics lessons and application, hair services, massage and waxing. The resort's 18-hole golf course lies adjacent to the property and two heated pools, lighted tennis courts, jogging trails, and a fitness center offer opportunities for recreation.
Guestrooms. Embellished in colors evocative of the desert landscape, the 295 guestrooms host a mix of wood furnishings, sofas, private patios or balconies with courtyard views and décor in toning shades of biscuit, sienna and jade green. Bedding includes duvets, seven pillows, lavender spray, nightlights, sleep CDs, earplugs and eye masks. Each offers cable television with premium channels and high-speed Internet access.
Expert Tip. Renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright oversaw construction of the resort which debuted in 1913.
