Complete with patio tables and potted plants in a charming courtyards, the St. James Hotel is home to the celebrated French bistro Cuvee, which serves nouveau New Orleans cuisine, from jumbo lump-crab cake and shrimp remoulade to rabbit confit and seafood bouillabaisse. Expert Tip. Legend has it that a previous incarnations of the St. James Hotel were a coffee roasting building and the first-floor guestrooms are rumored to be where the Texas Revolution was plotted.
