Location. Bath Street Inn is located one-half mile from Alameda Plaza and approximately one mile from the Downtown Historic Arts District and El Presidio State Historic Park in Santa Barbara, Calif. A local trolley provides rides to West Beach, two-and-a-half miles away. The inn is located less than two miles from Stearns Wharf.
Features. The Bath Street Inn, consisting of an 1890s house and a summer house, features a Queen Anne Victorian architectural style. Complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the inn's dining room, featuring homemade granola and entrees such as fresh raspberry pancakes, peach-stuffed French toast and Eggs Florentine with blueberry muffins. Complimentary cake and cookies are served each afternoon with tea and lemonade. Fax service and wireless Internet access are provided. A common library offers a selection of books and board games. The inn's parlor features a fireplace with ample seating. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Bath Street Inn feature period décor and asymmetrical nooks and crannies. The rooms offer cable television. Guestrooms include private bathrooms, some with jetted tubs. Select rooms feature floral bedding, armchairs, and decorative houseplants and flower vases. Standard rooms are located in the 1890s house, and the rooms in the separate summer house feature jetted tubs and either a gas Franklin stove or fireplace. Select rooms offer fireplaces, balconies, private entrances, corner window seats, wicker furniture or hand-quilted comforters.
Expert Tip. Old Mission, located approximately one mile from the inn, is the tenth of 21 Franciscan missions in California. The mission is a focal point for cultural and religious activity.
