The Beacon House is located across the street from the beach and seven blocks from the boardwalk in Carolina Beach, N.C. Fort Fisher and the North Carolina Aquarium are less than three miles from the property. This property, which originally served as a 1950's boarding house, conveys historic charm through walls lined with vintage photographs and memorabilia. Complimentary three-course southern breakfasts are provided each morning in the inn's dining room or on the veranda. Coffee is available 24 hours a day. The inn offers complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the house. The inn lends beach chairs and umbrellas, and offers three decks for lounging. A television, DVD player, games and two mini fridges are available in common areas.
The air-conditioned guestrooms at Beacon House feature beds made up with multiple pillows, comforters, duvets and high-quality linens. Select rooms feature satellite television. Guestrooms offer either private or shared bathrooms. Standard queen rooms are decorated based on individual themes, including spring garden and pineapple. The deluxe suite offers two rooms with an adjoining bath. One side features a bed wrapped in netting, and the other is a den with a sofa, television and VCR. The bathroom features a dual-head shower and tiled floor.
