Location. The Pearls of Newport, located in Newport, R.I., are less than one mile from harbor-front dining and shopping. Thames Street, which offers cafes, restaurants and stores, is less than one block from most of the homes. The homes are less than one mile from Eisenhower Park, the Samuel Whitehorne House Museum and the Tennis Hall of Fame.
Features. The Pearls of Newport are comprised of a 1750 early Colonial home, an 1825 Federalist house and an 1858 Victorian mansion. Rare museum pieces, artwork and sculptures are featured in the homes. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served each morning. A meeting facility with a flat-screen television is available for presentations, and complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the buildings. Guests receive complimentary access to a pool, racquetball courts and fitness center. The Pearls of Newport offer massages, manicures and pedicures for a fee. Several sitting rooms with fireplaces are available. Patios and decks overlook the grounds, which include private gardens and an outdoor hot tub. Pets are not allowed at this property.
