Location. The Hotel Commonwealth stands above the Kenmore Square "T" subway station in Boston, Mass. Fenway Park is located two blocks away, while the shops along Newbury Street are three blocks from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The first level of the Hotel Commonwealth building is occupied by a shopping promenade. The hotel's elegant lobby is located on the second floor. The Eastern Standard Brasserie serves casual meals. This restaurant has gained popularity as a pre- and post-Red Sox game destination. The Fountain Lounge displays contemporary design and serves champagne, martinis, sake and Japanese appetizers. The Commonwealth Coffee shop is located in the hotel lobby. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel. Recreational amenities include a complimentary, 24-hour fitness center with cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, free weights, and flat-screen televisions. A complimentary DVD library offers approximately 200 movies for in-room viewing. Pets are welcome for a fee.
Guestrooms. This five-story hotel offers 150 guestrooms with views of Fenway Park, Kenmore Street or Commonwealth Avenue.
