Location. The Best Western Rio Grande Inn-Old Town is in Albuquerque, N.M. The hotel is four blocks from the historic Old Town Plaza, the city's center since 1706. Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, American International Rattlesnake Museum and the Albuquerque Museum are two blocks away.
Hotel Features. Featuring a stucco exterior and a lobby with southwestern artwork and ceiling beams, the Best Western Rio Grande Inn-Old Town resembles an old pueblo. The hotel includes Albuquerque Grill, serving American and New Mexican cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Best Western Rio Grande Inn-Old Town's Zia Lounge has a full bar, a television and artwork by local artists. The hotel's indoor pool converts into an outdoor pool April through October. Expert Tip. Since its inception in 1972, the internationally-recognized Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta spans 78 acres and ten days in October. The festival features hot air balloon shows, including Balloon Glows, with glowing hot air balloons floating through the night sky. Hot air balloon rides and roasting chili peppers are available.
