Location. The Renaissance Inn at Bay Harbor is located in Bay Harbor, Mich. The property fronts Lake Michigan and boasts four golf courses. Within one-quarter mile of the hotel are the Bay Harbor History Museum, Harbor Springs Marina, and the Village at Bay Harbor shopping and dining district.

Guestrooms. Palates of cool blues and sage greens set the stage for the resort's 134 cottage-style guestrooms. Beds feature 300-thread count linens, down duvets and choices of down or foam pillows. Rooms make liberal use of summer-white living room and bedroom furniture. Most rooms feature working fireplaces and private balconies. Bathrooms offer bathrobes, marble vanities and tiled bath/shower combinations. Select rooms feature jetted tubs. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. Guests may play chess on a large board with pieces that are a few feet tall or play lawn croquet overlooking Lake Michigan. The grounds boast walking, jogging and biking paths.
