An Italian trattoria, Bella Bacino's, features casual, split-level seating that overlooks the Chicago River. Expert Tip. This property is housed within the historic Mather Tower, one of the best examples of pre-WWII skyscrapers built anywhere in the world. Constructed in 1928, the Mather Tower was distinguished at that time as the city's tallest building.
